Reliability

The objectives are twofold. 

Firstly, to address reliability issues causing significant impact and contributing to things being out of control.

Key activities include:

  • Review existing reliability focused practices
  • Review / Develop Equipment Criticality List(s)
  • Analyse frequent breakdowns which cause disruption to operations or to achieving Plant Maintenance Schedules
  • Design the Reliability sub-process(es) in a workshop environment that includes all stakeholders
  • Educate in good practice (RCM, SBM, RCFA, etc)
  • Fully utilise CMMS system to support effective Reliability strategy and management
  • Identify and address existing barriers and issues
  • Develop draft future state process
  • Agree on future process
  • Implement enabling changes, KPI's, R&R's, etc
  • Coach and mentor people on the job in their real world
  • Measure compliance and implement corrective actions

Secondly, to develop and implement a sustainable ongoing Reliability Programme.
