Supply Chain Integration Management

GMC works with our clients to increase the value of their business by delivering Supply Chain management solutions that complement our recognised Asset Management capabilities, and underpinned by leadership and change management.

Our approach focuses on the interrelationship between supply and maintenance, specifically at touch points between the disciplines, to unlock business process and system efficiencies.

This is undertaken by conducting an organisational health check of business performance in:

  • Tendering and Contracts
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory and Warehouse Management
  • Freight and Logistics

Our Asset and Supply Chain Readiness Diagnostic (ASCRD) allows us to examine the full spectrum of supply chain activities, assess how Supply interacts with other business disciplines, and supports internal customers.

In line with GMC's principle of establishing long term alliances, our methodology comprises a two-stage low risk approach involving a business health check and report, including an action plan, priorities, timing and resources. This milestone allows our clients to confirm proposed actions and priorities, and ensures alignment with business objectives. Once agreed, we work with our clients to implement improvement initiatives, drive change and transfer knowledge using agreed performance measures to monitor ongoing business enhancements.
